This program provides students with the necessary skills to design and develop devices and machinery for manufacture, including engines, gas turbines, automobiles, heat exchangers and electronic equipment; some serve as consultants in areas such as air conditioning and environmental control. The program format is very much ‘hands-on’ – the emphasis being on the development of sound practical skills within the context of safe working practices.

The BT certificate allows graduates to continue their university education and / or the TS certificate according to the majors specified by the Ministry of Education.

It helps prepare students for employment in manufacturing, gas and oil industries, mechanical maintenance, gas and oil companies, and water, and power stations.
